"The New Moon Faerie Massage Circle"

This is the first of the New Moon archives to be saved.
The Massage Circle we did in May 2002 was the first one that had been done in many months since they were more of a regular thing, nearly a year before and were traditionally held most every New Moon. The New Moon Massage Circle was discontinued so that other events could be tried out. There have been many events since then, too numerous to mention at this moment. The Massage Circle has been a way for us to be sensual, and giving to each other. A typical session would entail a vegetarian pot-luck feast and then massage. With about ten men and one massage table each person could experience what  it's like to receive massage from 9 men at once, an amazing experience. This was the New Moon Faerie Massage Circle.

Try to imagine about 10 nude men each taking turns laying down one at a time on a massage table and receiving the spiritual healing of about 20 hands simultaneously kneading, caressing, stroking, jerking, twisting, drumming, stretching, petting, and working over all parts of the body. I found the proceedings of this entertaining piece of live theatre to be so pleasurable that I felt entertained, gratified and satisfied by my experience.

This past new moon was my first ever massage circle. i have to say i was a bit nervous, because I've never been comfortable taking my clothes off in front of others, plus the whole idea of a group massage seemed just a tad too....well, personal, i guess. i wasn't even planning on going but i changed my mind at the very last minute and found myself on the freeway...

one of the best things about walking into Leonardo's house whether it's for a heart circle or a massage circle or whatever is that all my cares seem to vanish as soon as i step inside. i feel safe and respected and feel like it's truly ok to be who i am, whoever that may be. any issues i have about body image/self image/gay identity seem utterly unimportant. Leonardo has created the ultimate safe space for men to feel beautiful and protected and strong and wonderful all at the same time and i personally can't thank him enough...or all of you who come to these wonderful events.

the group massage experience itself is something i now plan on doing whenever i get a chance. it was relaxing and reassuring, sensual without being too overtly sexual or the least bit aggressive. and in this situation, giving was definitely just as good as receiving. everybody was beautiful and sexy, and (i thought) a good time was had by all.
